Jr. Enterprise Systems Engineer
The Jr. Enterprise Systems Engineer is responsible for maintaining the design and integrity of the program systems. Engineer will oversee the program’s Wireless Intrusion Detection System (WIDS) full-time, at a client site. Engineer will build scripts, provide expert technical assistance to team members, and build and patch servers (Linux and Windows). Engineer should have excellent networking skills, including an understanding of IP Schema, scripting, hardware, and other aspects of building a network and maintaining systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
Design and deploy functional servers on Linux and Windows operating systems
Maintain system compliance with cyber security standards and practices
Use Autocad to create maps and update drawings of building floor plans
Monitor system performance and integrity
Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness
Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery, etc.)
Communicate appropriately and professionally with users when needed
Maintain complete technical documentation
Suggest improvements to performance, capacity, and scalability
Experience installing and maintaining network equipment and cabling
Desired Requirements
Preferred 2 years of direct industry-related experience as a Jr. Systems Engineer; or have knowledge comparable to a Jr. Systems Engineer/Architect.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD to view, print, and navigate existing 2D and 3D drawings (.dwg files)
Experience in maintaining compliance with cybersecurity standards and frameworks
Professional certification(s) (e.g. - Security+ Network+)
Solid background in systems engineering and maintenance
In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly ICMP, TCP/IP) and routing protocols
In-depth understanding of deploying Elasticsearch on Linux in a clustered environment
Familiarity with virtualization (ESXi, vCente, VmWare)
Familiarity with access control models and network security
Solid understanding of server operating systems (Ubuntu 18.04, Windows)
Knowledge in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related engineering field (or, at least 2 years of direct experience working as a network engineer)
Understanding of basic Cisco switching functions (configuring access and trunk ports)
Additional Requirements
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with poly level of clearance and the ability to maintain clearance
The ability to work proficiently with minimal oversight
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, twist, and carry at least 15lbs of equipment
Some tasks will require the ability to walk extensively throughout facilities during a workday.
Requires the ability to climb stepladders, and stairs as needed during a workday.
Requires the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat, kneel, reach/stretch, and move in a 90-degree fashion during workday.
Requires the ability to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-coding.
Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.

IT/Networking Engineer
Amentum Secure Network Solutions (SNS) is looking for an IT/Networking Engineer to support client-based programs teams in the Washington Metro Area. As an IT/Networking Engineer at Amentum SNS, you will work closely with engineering teams to consult, develop, train, architect, and provide IT and engineering services across two programs to maximize the quality of contract deliverables for the SNS group and to support the development of emerging technical projects. This role requires a wide range of technical skills and the ability to creatively solve complex and exotic technical challenges across IT disciplines, including networking, services, hardware, software, and Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) systems. Your work will support engineering projects and ensure all deliverables adhere to industry standards and company guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineers on current Amentum SNS programs to improve systems and standardize engineering practices.
Support the execution of new technical system deployments on current programs adhering to customer requirements.
Support the development of new technology integration and provide expertise for new contract opportunities.
Attend engineering meetings and provide technical input.
Review ongoing engineering practices and provide feedback to improve contract deliverables.
Leverage experience in secure network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WLAN) for mission-critical deployments.
Utilize tools such as VMware ESXi, NetEdit, Cisco ISE, and SolarWinds for infrastructure monitoring and configuration.
Implement secure, scalable network architectures for multi-domain environments supporting classified government operations.
Implement CSfC-compliant remote access and enterprise-grade secure wireless solutions.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in technical subjects such as Engineering, IT, STEM, related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in IT or related technical field.
Desired Certifications:
AWS Solutions Architect or equivalent
CCNP or equivalent (CCDA, and CCDP also beneficial)
Technical skills in most or all of the following disciplines:
Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or related)
Transport, routing & security/auth protocols, OSI model
CSfC architecture and compliance (MACP)

Tech Support Engineer Installer
Amentum/Delta Bridge is seeking skilled CONUS Technical Engineering resources to support the survey, installation, and configuration of a cutting-edge Wireless Intrusion Detection System (WIDS) at a classified customer site in Norfolk, Virginia. This role is on a casual basis, designed to match the customer’s dynamic schedule. The project will begin with approximately two months of focused installation work, followed by occasional O&M support as needed. Schedules will be coordinated several weeks in advance to ensure smooth execution.
Responsibilities
Assemble and mount antennas/brackets, including above drop ceilings.
Pull, terminate, and test Ethernet cabling.
Potentially transport and stage equipment between buildings.
Execute tasks in alignment with Amentum’s strict safety standards and compliance procedures.
Perform work during both business hours and after-hours, depending on facility availability.
Required Qualifications
Hands-on experience with installation procedures, including conduit bending and related tasks (preferred).
Ability to safely climb stepladders up to approximately 10 feet.
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant field experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Effective interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills to work within a team-oriented environment.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to meet shifting project demands.
